FAQ
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no fee to join and no minimum number of locations. You only pay Butter’s wholesale fee for locations you actually resell.
How do I make money?
You buy Butter at 65% of list price (a 35% discount) and resell it at whatever price you choose. At list price, that is $35.00 per month for each Full Butter location.
Who bills the restaurant?
You do. Butter invoices you monthly in arrears for your active paid locations, due in 30 days. Annual plans are invoiced up front for the year. You owe the wholesale fee whether or not your customer pays you.
Do free trials count?
No. Restaurants you bring get Butter’s standard 30-day free trial, and no wholesale fee is due for a location while it is on trial.
Who supports the restaurant?
You handle first-line support: onboarding help, account questions and billing. Butter backs you up with second-line technical support.
What happens if I leave the program?
Either side can end the agreement on 60 days’ notice. Your customers can then continue directly with Butter at current pricing, or cancel.
How do I sign in to the partner portal?
Use the mobile number you registered with. We text you a one-time code; there is no password.
